What goes back to Jobber

When the customer signs off, Changed adds the lines, a pinned note, the Change orders field and any deposit invoice to the Jobber job.

When the customer signs off on a change order on a Jobber job, Changed writes it to that job in Jobber, in this order:

  1. The added lines, each described as "Change order CO-NN" with the reason.
  2. Lines you took out, as credit lines with a negative price. If Jobber will not take a negative price, the change order and the note say to adjust it by hand.
  3. A pinned note on the job: who signed off and when, the lines, was, change and now, the deposit, and links to the signed PDF, the video when there is one, and the customer's page.
  4. The Change orders field on the job, for example "2 signed off · +$1,240.00".
  5. A deposit invoice, when the change order asks for a deposit, marked sent so it shows in Client Hub. Jobber does not email it. See Deposits and the Pay button.

The original quote is never touched, and Changed never deletes anything in Jobber.

Check it worked

Open the change order. The Jobber section lists each step with ok or failed and when. When every step that matters worked, the change order shows in Jobber.

If a step failed, Jobber's words show next to it. Tap Retry and Changed redoes only what failed. If nothing has been written yet, the button says Write to Jobber.
