Products and services
Settings, Products & services holds what a tech can drop onto a change order, from Jobber or added in Changed, and items you add can go to Jobber too.
Open Settings, then Products & services. It is the same list Jobber calls Products & Services: the things you charge for, at your price, ready to drop onto a change order.
The owner and the office add, edit and remove items. A tech sees the list and picks from it on a change order. Remove asks first; change orders that already have the item keep their lines. A unit price can be up to $10,000,000, the same as a line on a change order.
From Jobber
When Jobber is connected, its Products & Services come in on every sync. Each one says From Jobber. Change or remove those in Jobber: tap Edit in Jobber, make the change there, and it shows here after the next sync. Changed does not edit them, so a change made here can never be overwritten by the next sync.
Only in Changed
Anything you add in Changed says Only in Changed. You can edit it or remove it here.
Add to Jobber too
When Jobber is connected, the add form has a box: Also add to Jobber's Products & services. Check it and Changed adds the item to Jobber as well. From then on it says From Jobber and you change it in Jobber. Changed remembers whether you checked it last time.
An item that is only in Changed has an Add to Jobber button for later.
Jobber keeps one item per name. If Jobber already has an item with that name (capitals and extra spaces don't count), Changed uses Jobber's item instead of adding a second one: it takes Jobber's name, price and category, says so, and tells you the new price when it is different. If Jobber has more than one item with that name, Changed doesn't pick one. Rename or remove the extra one in Jobber, then tap Add to Jobber again.
If Jobber says no, the item stays in Changed and Jobber's words show at the top. Tap Add to Jobber to try again. If it says Changed needs permission, Changed has to be allowed to add products in Jobber first, then you reconnect Jobber in Settings, Connections.
Lines on a signed-off change order go onto the Jobber job only. They are never added to your Products & Services. See What goes back to Jobber.
