Change or cancel your plan
Upgrade, downgrade or cancel, update your card, see invoices, what happens when a payment fails, and how to ask about a refund.
Billing is handled by Stripe. Only an owner can change it.
Switch plans
- Open Settings and tap Plan to open it.
- Select Switch to Pro or Switch to Crew.
- Confirm the change on the Stripe page.
- Upgrades start right away. You pay the difference for the rest of this billing period, prorated.
- Downgrades start at the end of your current billing period.
Change your card or see invoices
- Open Settings and tap Plan to open it.
- Select Change plan, card or invoices.
- On the Stripe page, update your payment method or download past invoices.
Cancel
- Open Settings and tap Plan to open it.
- Select Change plan, card or invoices.
- Cancel your plan on the Stripe page.
Your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Then your company moves to Free. Free covers your first 10 change orders in total, so if you've already sent more than 10, Changed keeps sending and asks the owner to upgrade. Your change orders, signed PDFs and history stay in Changed.
If a payment fails
The owner sees "Your card didn't go through. Update it in Plan." at the top of Changed. Stripe tries the payment again over the next while, and your plan stays on during the retries. If every retry fails, the plan ends and your company moves to Free. To avoid that, update your card under Change plan, card or invoices. Changed keeps sending change orders the whole time.
Refunds
Canceling stops the next charge. It does not refund the period you already paid for. If you were charged for something you didn't expect, or charged twice, email us from Talk to a person with the date and the amount, and we'll sort it out.
